Re: Square #1 problems
As long as we're dealing with quibbles over implementations, I'll point out a slight difference between the implemented rules and another proposal that was approved:
The rule, as implemented, says:
"The Paint Ball from Space will be a color of paint available at stores (exluding Yellow), Orange paint, or paint thinner, with all options equally likely to occur."
However, the proposal which was accepted says:
"Paint balls from space may strike either board, instead of just striking the M-board, and will contain, with equal probability, one of the paint colors available in stores (with the exception of yellow, which is never found in paint balls from space), orange paint, or paint thinner."
If you note the exact punctuation of the proposal, there are three options that happen with equal probability:
1) one of the paint colors available in stores (with the exception of yellow, which is never found in paint balls from space),
2) orange paint, or
3) paint thinner.
I don't object to the current implementation, as the way it was implemented was actually what I meant to say when I wrote the proposal. I only noticed after it was approved that I actually wrote something different from what I originally meant, and I decided to keep my mouth shut and wait a bit to see if anyone else noticed the distinction....
