I'm still not sold on either Judiciary or Fine Polishing. The Judiciary seems a bit useless now. Why would I go through all that bureaucracy when I can just propose the fix myself, and it will stand a better chance of passing? It means I'm not proposing something more interesting, but at this point in the game we've already got enough going on that it's not such a big deal.
Similar with Fine Polishing. If a proposal in Voting has a known substantial problem, then I'm going to vote No on it and demand a fixed version. Having a Fine Polishing officer isn't going to change that, because there's no guarantee that he will actually fix the proposal. Again, it just seems like so much bureaucracy that I'd rather not use.
Finally, it has just occurred to me that there should be a limit to how much tax can be set for any particular action. Otherwise, taxable actions can be stopped altogether by making the tax larger than anyone can afford.
