Or instead of leaving the clarification to a future proposal, you could just clarify this one and resubmit. Unclear proposals tend to attract No votes.
By "strategizing", I'm thinking of two things in particular. The first is Jet graffiti. You can paint a Jet graffito and a sequential graffito in the hope that you or somebody like-minded will have an opportunity to paint the other sequential square as well. But if the graffiti are just going to get wiped out by paint balls within a week, there's not much point, at least on the M-Board.
The second is just the strategy of adding or removing a large amount of a particular color. On the M-Board, the paint balls are going to maintain a fairly even distribution of colors no matter how much painting you do -- for every turn you make, you can paint two M-squares, and a paint ball will randomly obliterate five.
I think the paint balls clearly cause more disruption than the color reversal rule. As it stands, the M-Board may be a bit confusing, but at least it's predictable.
