Re: proposal brainstorming: Stock Market
For example, AAAAAAAAA! has $250 and four logs. He wants to build a store. So, he creates a stock through a broker that he previously built. The total base price of his stock is $300. I go to a broker and pay $210 and get 70% of AAAAAAAAA!'s stock. Then you go to a broker and pay $90 for the remaining 30% of the stock. So, AAA! now has 300 stock dollars. He uses four logs, $250, and 250 stock dollars to build a store. Because he bought half the store with regular money and half the store with stock money, he owns half the, and the stockholders own half the store. AAA! still gets to manage it completely, though. On the turn after that, he lands on a red square and uses the stock money to repay those three dollars. A few turns later, Root buys six cans of paint from the store. Since AAA! owns half of the store and the stockholders own the other half, he gets 15% of the price of the items in regular money and the other 15% in stock dollars. So, AAA! Now has $450 and 497 stock dollars. Because he has 497 stock dollars and he has spent 253 stock dollars, the stock is worth $750. My 70% of the stock is worth $525, and your 30% is worth $225. A few turns after that, you really need money, and Eurtek thinks that the shop will make a lot of money, so you sell your share of the stock to Eurtek for $250. Then, Veelai buys two warp stars from AAA! for a total of $400. Later, I need some money, but noone will buy share of the stock, so I withdraw it for $525 dollars. AAA! only has 497 stock dollars, so he has to pay the remaining $28 with his own money. I originally invested $210, so the base price of the stock is now only $90, the value of the stock is $225, and Eurtek owns the entire stock. Then, AAA! gets $1000 from some event. After that Eurtek changes his mind and withdraws his $225. AAA! doesn't have any stock money at this time, so he has to pay the $225 with his own money. The stock is now terminated and AAA! takes full ownership of the shop.
